Trademark Filings in 2019

Here are some more stats from the trademark filings in 2019 (see earlier post). According to my data, the top trademark filers for 2019 were:

From my data, the top users of the Madrid system for incoming marks in 2019 were Apple Inc., Huawei Technologies Co., and Glaxo Group Limited.

My data indicates that 319 applications were filed that listed all 45 Nice classes of goods (1 to 34) and services (35 to 45) but only one of which was filed after June 17. These were filed by 21 applicants, with the most prolific filers being Shake Technologies Limited, Endeavor Systems, Yango Limited and Apricot Technologies Limited. Brandster Branding, the only significant filer of such marks in 2017 and 2018, only filed one trademark application in 2019.
