About 55,390 trademark applications were filed in Canada in 2016. Of these, about 24% were filed in-house or without an agent (up slightly from previous years). Check out my list of the 50 firms/agents that filed the most applications in 2016.

For those interested, please compare my 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012 and 2011 list with the 2016 list. I have attempted to address different firm spellings/name changes but have not consolidated filings made by individuals within a firm that are recorded by CIPO under the individual.
