Both the Federal Court and CIPO websites have scheduled outages this weekend. The Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal announced that their website, email and e-filing will be unavailable from Friday night to Sunday morning. CIPO’s deposit accounts and some e-commerce services will be unavailable from Friday afternoon to Monday morning.
In a pop-up window on the Federal Court website, there is the following announcement:
Please be advised that all network services of the Federal Court of Canada will be unavailable on the following dates: From Friday, May 10, 2013 starting at 8:00PM EST until Sunday, May 12, 2013 at 8:00AM EST
The following services will not be available:

Disruption of E-Filing Services
Please be advised that the Federal Court’s e-filing services will not be available on the following dates: From Friday, May 10, 2013 starting at 8:00PM EST until Sunday, May 12, 2013 at 8:00AM EST
In a separate announcement, Canadian Intellectual Property Office has sent out a series of email alerts and posted an alert on its website as follows:
Service interruption – May 10-13, 2013
Due to maintenance activities, payment with Deposit Accounts will not be available starting at 3:30 p.m. on May 10 until 9:00 p.m. (EST) on May 13.
Some e-commerce services will be inaccessible starting at 6:00 p.m. on May 10 until 7:00 a.m. on May 13 (EST).
